Age Boom Academy focuses on building societal cohesion to address loneliness in older ages
In partnership with the Columbia School of Journalism, our 2021 Age Boom Academy kicks off on Thursday, May 6, when we welcome nearly 40 journalists and 30 speakers to unpack what has been called an epidemic of loneliness. We will be looking at it from the angle of loneliess in aging and how to design our environment so that societal cohesion and equity is in the forefront of a human-centered approach. We welcome our 2021 Fellows including five returning senior journalists, and wish them a terrific training. Finally we acknowledge the wonderful support of this agenda from the RRF Foundation for Aging as well from the AARP Foundation.
